SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Wasatch County deputies say a Provo man that went missing earlier this month may have been camping when he disappeared.

The Deseret News reports (https://bit.ly/1TRJcah ) the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday that search and rescue crews have made several searches of the area where 73-year-old Wayne Buckley went missing but have yet to find him.

Buckley was last seen June 7. His truck was later found near the remote Currant Creek Area of Wasatch County.

Buckley had been alone when he went missing.

According to the sheriff’s office, it’s unlikely that Buckley got far on foot because he suffers from emphysema.

The sheriff’s office said it’s possible someone may have given Buckley a ride near the area where his truck was found.
