BLOOMFIELD, Ind. (AP) - Investigators haven’t yet determined what caused a fire that destroyed a southwestern Indiana meat processing plant.

Officials say about seven firefighters from around Greene County worked for several hours into early Friday after the blaze broke out at the Bloomfield Processing Co.

Switz City Fire Chief Bryan Woodall tells the Greene County Daily World (https://bit.ly/1GHzDBQ ) that no one was hurt in the fire but that the building about 25 miles southwest of Bloomington was a total loss.

Woodall says arson isn’t suspected, although an investigation by the state fire marshal’s office hasn’t been completed.
