CUMMING, Ga. (AP) - A long-abandoned subdivision in Forsyth County could soon be demolished.

The county commission voted last week to demolish the Greenleaf neighborhood, where work stopped in 2006.

Afterward, two men tied to the 40-acre development were sent to federal prison for mortgage fraud and ordered to pay millions of dollars in restitution. Meanwhile, the never-completed homes were vandalized and decayed.

Officials said the demolition work could cost $300,000.
