BRUNSWICK, Ga. (AP) - Probate judges in southeast Georgia could end up conducting some of the first marriages of gay couples from Florida.

Unlike Florida, Georgia has no waiting period for people seeking to tie the knot.

Glynn County Probate Judge Debra Howes told the Florida Times-Union (https://bit.ly/1Jqof3h ) that her court has always gotten a number of people from Florida who go to Georgia so they can get their marriage licenses and say their vows the same day. Florida has a three-day waiting period.
