CINCINNATI (AP) - Police say they have arrested a suspect in the fatal stabbing of a man in Cincinnati.

Cincinnati police say officers responded to an apartment shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday after receiving a report about a stabbing. They said they found a man who had been stabbed multiple times.

Police said in a statement Sunday that 54-year-old Melvin Hill was transported to a hospital where he died from his wounds.

Police said the suspect was taken to the county jail. But they did not immediately release information on any charges in the case.
