HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) - Fire officials say two boys, ages 11 and 14, were taken into juvenile custody after they were accused of igniting a blaze that destroyed a Henderson home and two vehicles parked nearby.

Henderson city spokeswoman Michelle French said Wednesday that one person was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene of the fire about 6:45 p.m. Monday at a home on Jefferson Boulevard. That’s near Sunset Road and Boulder Highway.

Investigators say the fire began in the garage, and the house, contents and vehicles were a complete loss with an estimated value of $85,000.

French says there aren’t any other suspects.

The boys were taken to Clark County Juvenile Detention to face juvenile charges of second degree arson.
