FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - University of Arkansas hurdler Omar McLeod is on the watch list for the Bowerman Award for the sixth consecutive time.

The Bowerman Award is presented each year to the top male and female collegiate track and field athletes in the nation. McLeod has been on each watch list since March 4.

McLeod is currently tops in the nation and No. 7 in the world in the 110-meter hurdles as he prepares for next week’s NCAA Outdoor Championships. He is also a member of the 4x100 and 4x400-meter relay teams that will compete in the NCAA Outdoor Championships.

Ten semifinalists for the Bowerman Award will be announced June 22 and three finalists will be announced during July.
