TV chef Bobby Flay received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Tuesday as a plane carrying a banner that read “cheater” circled overhead.

An eyewitness said the green prop plane appeared just as Mr. Flay, 50, took the stage, E! News reported. It continued to circle the area until the Food Network star was finished speaking, the witness said.

Although not confirmed, TMZ speculated that the insult was aimed at Mr. Flay, who filed for divorce in April from actress Stephanie March after 10 years of marriage. Mr. Flay has denied rumors that he cheated on Ms. March with his 28-year-old assistant.

“We will continue to refrain from responding to the continued efforts by certain parties to spread rumors and innuendo,” Mr. Flay’s rep told E! News. “This specific allegation was in a letter sent from one attorney in this case to the other. It was written and then leaked specifically to try to insert this story into the press, and that’s unfortunate. Even more unfortunate is that all of this is being done in order to renegotiate a prenuptial agreement that was agreed to over a decade ago and never amended during the marriage.”

The pair currently are battling it out in court over their decade-old prenuptial, which Ms. March is trying to have tossed, arguing she helped make Mr. Flay a success.
