BURLINGTON CITY, N.J. (AP) - A civic activist has unseated the mayor in the Republican primary election in Burlington City.

Unofficial results show Harry Fine far head of Mayor James Fazzone, who was seeking his third term as mayor but his first as a Republican.

Fazzone switched parties earlier this year.

Fine will face Democratic councilman Barry Conaway in the general election in November in the city 12 miles southwest of Trenton.
