BROWNSVILLE, Pa. (AP) - The son of a western Pennsylvania borough councilman has been found drowned in river near where he was last seen fishing over the weekend.

The body of 25-year-old Thomas Aron Bush, of Brownsville, was found in the Monongahela River about 10:30 a.m. not far from where his father, Brownsville Councilman Tom Bush, says his son went fishing with a friend Saturday.

The councilman says the friend left for a while and returned to find Bush’s son gone and assumed the younger Bush had left in the interim. When the young man didn’t return home on Sunday, his family again searched the area and called police.

Fayette County Coroner Dr. Phillip Reilly says an autopsy revealed Bush drowned and says “no foul play” is suspected.

Brownsville is about 30 miles south of Pittsburgh.
