PLEASANTVILLE, N.J. (AP) - Officials say two people have been injured in an early-morning house fire in southern New Jersey.

WPVI-TV reports (https://6abc.cm/1QoIQDz ) the fire broke out just before 3 a.m. Wednesday in Pleasantville. It took firefighters about 45 minutes to get the fire under control.

Officials say one person was treated for burns and is in serious condition. A second person was injured and is in stable condition.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
