SALISBURY, Md. (AP) - Maryland State Police have charged a man with first- and second-degree murder in the home invasion shooting of a Salisbury man.

Nineteen-year-old Daequan White of Salisbury was arrested Tuesday. In addition to the murder charges, White is charged with numerous other offenses and is being held without bond.

He is charged in the shooting death 20-year-old James Skinner on May 17, who was found lying in the doorway of his residence.

Troopers say a motive for White’s actions has not yet been identified and additional suspects are being sought.
