MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) - A Marietta man will spend the next 30 years in prison for stalking and assaulting his ex-wife.

The Marietta Daily Journal (https://bit.ly/1GjUssb ) reports 50-year-old Lee Elvis Veasley pleaded guilty Tuesday to four counts of aggravated assault, four counts of aggravated battery, two counts of aggravated sodomy, one count of aggravated sexual battery and one count false imprisonment for a 2014 incident involving his ex-wife.

Cobb District Attorney’s office spokesperson Kim Isaza says in January 2014, Veasley locked his ex-wife in his apartment, tied her to a bedframe, then burned her with a heated screwdriver on various parts of her body.

Isaza says Veasley also arranged a box to be sent to his ex-wife in February with a threatening note and a live rat while he was in custody.
