ROZET, Wyo. (AP) - Authorities in Campbell County say a 37-year-old man walking in the small community of Rozet has died after being hit by a car.

Campbell County Sheriff Scott Matheny says the incident happened about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday on state Highway 51 near the Rozet Post Office.

The victim was identified as Michael Patrick Sullivan, of Rozet.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol is handling the investigation and has not released details of what happened.

But the Gillette News Record reports (https://bit.ly/1FU6FAr ) that a trooper arrested a 63-year-old man for drunken driving in connection with the incident.

Rozet is about 15 miles east of Gillette.
