TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a 16-year-old boy was driving the car that authorities believe is connected to the Sunday homicide of 14-year-old Edward Harris.

The Tampa Bay Times (https://bit.ly/1Kb4DPn ) reports police said Wednesday the boy led officers on a chase Monday in a silver Infiniti before he was arrested. Detectives believe the car, which is registered to an Ocala woman, is the same vehicle that traveled down a street before a passenger opened fire Sunday afternoon on a group of people near the entrance of a park.

O’Connor says the woman who owns the car is not believed to be connected with Harris’ death. O’Connor also says the boy is not ruled out as a suspect, but don’t have enough to charge him.
