WEST FARGO, N.D. (AP) - Police are investigating what happened to a six-month-old infant from Fargo who’s now on life support in a Minneapolis hospital.

KFGO-AM reports (https://bit.ly/1Qu7WB2 ) police were called to an unlicensed home daycare in West Fargo on Monday after receiving a report of a baby who wasn’t breathing. The daycare provider was performing CPR on the infant when officers arrived.

The child was taken to the Essentia hospital in Fargo and later flown to Minneapolis.

West Fargo Police Chief Mike Reitan says it was determined that the baby has internal injuries. They’re working on determining how and where the child was injured.
