“All My Children” actress Jennifer Bassey says she was escorted off a Delta flight after an attendant claimed she assaulted her, TMZ reported Thursday.

The 72-year-old actress, best known for her soap role as Marian Colby, told TMZ that the incident began on her flight from New York City to Indianapolis when she exited the plane lavatories as it was still being boarded.

“Aren’t you going to flush?” the flight attendant asked loudly before berating her about washing her hands, Ms. Bassey said.

The actress said she planned on washing her hands with her personal hand sanitizer she had at her seat. She said the attendant followed her back to her seat and they accidentally bumped hands.

“Don’t you touch me, don’t you ever touch me,” the attendant said, Ms. Bassey recalled.

Ms. Bassey reportedly responded by mouthing, “Go [expletive] yourself.”

That’s when she witnessed all of the flight attendants gathering in a huddle. The plane, which had already started to taxi, returned to the gate and two police officers removed the actress, TMZ reported.

Ms. Bassey was not arrested due to a lack of evidence that she assaulted the attendant, police told TMZ.

Delta said it is investigating the incident. Ms. Bassey said she hopes the attendant gets fired.
