BOTHELL, Wash. (AP) - Police say a body has been found inside a Bothell home after a fire overnight.

KOMO-TV reports (https://is.gd/yiealz ) the body was found inside a back bedroom.

Sgt. Ken Seuberlick of the Bothell police says the fire has been labeled suspicious and the investigation is ongoing.

The homeowner told authorities he came home and found the house on fire Wednesday evening. He says he tried to get inside but couldn’t and then tried to put the fire out himself before calling 911.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames after responding to the fire around 10 p.m.
