CHESAPEAKE, Va. (AP) - Police say remains found in Chesapeake have been identified as that of a Virginia Beach woman who was last seen on May 7.

Media outlets reports a medical examiner confirmed the remains were those of 43-year-old Brianna Armstrong.

Her abandoned car was found in a shopping center on May 13.

Chesapeake police spokesman Ravi Sheth says the remains were found in the city on May 31.
