MASON CITY, Iowa (AP) - An editor from Wyoming has been chosen to lead the Globe Gazette in Mason City and three weekly newspapers in northern Iowa.

The Globe Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1ImXRH0 ) that David Mayberry, the content editor of the Casper Star-Tribune, will become editor/managing editor of the North Iowa Media Group, made up of the Globe Gazette and three weekly newspapers, the Britt News-Tribune, Forest City Summit and Mitchell County Press-News.

All the newspapers are owned by Lee Enterprises.

Mayberry will replace Jane Reynolds, who is retiring.

The 40-year-old Mayberry has worked at the Caspar newspaper since 1998 and has held a number of positions.

He will start his new job July 6.
