ROSEVILLE, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say they’ve removed 14 dachshunds from a suburban Detroit home following a complaint about possible animal cruelty.

Police say in a statement that a Roseville animal control officer and police went to the home on Thursday after a court order was issued.

Police say the dogs were taken for cleaning and examination. No charges have been issued in the case, which is under investigation.
