ORANGE PARK, Fla. (AP) - A north Florida mother and daughter say they had no idea the man they had once roomed with was wanted in New Hampshire for killing his parents.

Amanda Grieves of Gainesville told First Coast News (https://on.wtsp.com/1dRQnip ) that she and her mother Kim Grieves learned Wednesday night that 37-year-old Matthew Dion was arrested in connection with the March 2014 deaths of 71-year-old Robert Dion and 67-year-old Constance Dion. Their bodies were found inside their Manchester, New Hampshire, burned out home.

Amanda Grieves, who knew Dion Cam Buchard, says her mother broke up with him after a few months when she realized something seemed strange.

U.S. Marshal’s arrested Dion in Port Orange, Florida, on Wednesday.

Dion appeared in court Thursday and waived extradition. He’s facing two counts of second-degree murder.
