LOS ANGELES (AP) - A gang member convicted in the murder of a Los Angeles youth pastor has been sentenced to 58 years to life in prison.

Thirty-one-year-old Kevin Dwayne Green was sentenced Friday in the shooting death of 23-year-old Oscar Duncan.

Prosecutors say Duncan was returning home with his fiancee in June 2012 when someone in a vehicle made lewd comments. When Duncan approached the vehicle, he was shot once in the face after authorities say the suspects shouted the name of a gang.

Green was convicted of first-degree murder and second-degree robbery in February.

Twenty-five-year-old Hopeton Parsley was also found guilty in the murder. He was sentenced to 90 years to life in prison.

A third defendant pleaded not guilty to one count of voluntary manslaughter.
