RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) - Investigators say a man who crashed his truck into a restaurant in Riverton accidentally hit the gas instead of the brakes. The Ranger reports (https://bit.ly/1KPL4gS ) that the 78-year-old man was driving a maroon 2009 Ford truck when he accelerated and went through the brick wall of the Trailhead Family Restaurant Wednesday.

Riverton Police Department Capt. Eric Murphy says the driver was there to have breakfast.

No one was seriously injured by the crash. A family of four eating at a table close the wall had some scrapes from brick and glass, but were relatively unharmed.

As of Thursday morning, no citations had been issued in the crash.

The restaurant will be closed for several days for cleanup.
