SEATTLE (AP) - Police say a 74-year-old woman was injured when she was knocked to the ground in Seattle’s Seward Park neighborhood by a man who ripped a necklace from her neck.

The Seattle Times reports (https://is.gd/fHn843 ) the woman was walking late Thursday afternoon when a man approached her from behind and pushed her down, then grabbed her necklace and ran off.

Police say she was taken to Harborview Medical Center with a broken leg and a possible broken hip.
