LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department says sign installation work will require a lane closure on Interstate 630 in Little Rock.

Officials say crews will install an overhead sign at the I-430/630 “Big Rock” Interchange. The work will reduce westbound traffic to one lane leading to I-430 northbound. Traffic may be intermittently stopped in the open lane during the installation.

The I-630 westbound lane closures will be on Sunday between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

In addition, officials say road work will require additional I-430 and I-630 lane closures in Little Rock. Weather permitting, the lane closures will begin Saturday morning and continue until the work is complete, maybe as late as Monday morning.

Officials say motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
