SOUTH JORDAN, Utah (AP) - A South Jordan woman has been arrested for suspicion of driving drunk after she crashed her vehicle with four children in the back seat.

The Deseret News reports (https://bit.ly/1EYEP29 ) police say 36-year-old Robin Lance had been driving with a blood-alcohol level more than three times over the legal limit when she passed out, drifted off of the road and struck several trees Sunday.

Police say Lance had been delivering newspapers in her car with four children, who were in the back unrestrained.

The children, ages 4, 5, 9 and 11, suffered minor injuries.

Police say Lance had been acting slow and lethargic when speaking to officers.

Lance told police she had not been drinking. As of Thursday no criminal charges had been filed against her.
