BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Interstate 84 and city roads will be tied up to provide room for a footrace and motorcycle rally in the Boise area.

The Idaho Statesman reports (https://bit.ly/1KTKyOY ) that Boise roads will fill with children ages 6 to 14 on Saturday for the annual St. Alphonsus Capitol Classic. Kids will race one mile from the old Boise train depot to the Capitol.

The annual Idaho Patriot Thunder charity motorcycle ride is scheduled for Sunday. The Ada County Highway District says an estimated 650 bikers will participate, leaving Meridian around 11 a.m. and riding to Mountain Home.

ACHD says drivers should expect major delays from the Meridian on-ramp all the way to Mountain Home.
