CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Casper College is presenting a program to help people learn to recognize lesser-known birds of prey.

The Werner Wildlife Museum at the College will present its June Raptor Rap program at 4 p.m. on June 18. The program is titled, “Kestrels, Osprey, and Other Less Familiar Raptors.”

India Hayford is an assistant at the museum. Hayford says most people can identify eagles and owls but don’t know ospreys and can’t tell the difference between a falcon and a hawk.

The program will help participants learn what to look for in identifying smaller raptors.
