LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Gov. Asa Hutchinson has announced his intent to grant two pardons and restore the firearms rights of a third former convict.

The governor’s office said another 39 clemency requests were denied.

Hutchinson plans to pardon Johnathan Collins of White Hall and Bryan Hornbuckle of Malvern and to restore the firearms rights to Emory Martin III of Bentonville.

Hutchinson’s office says each of the three have completed all jail time and all parole and probationary requirements and have paid all fines. There is a 30-day waiting period for public comment before the actions are final.

Collins was convicted of possession of a controlled/counterfeit substance and of drinking in an unlicensed public place while Hornbuckle was convicted on drug charges. Martin was convicted on forgery and theft of property charges.
