PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Detectives with the Portland Police Bureau are asking the public for information about a man’s death.

Central Precinct officers responded Thursday evening to an assault near Old Town Chinatown and found 54-year-old Marvin Holiday with serious injuries. He died at a hospital.

Police described Holiday as a 54-year-old African-American who wearing a black Nike sweatshirt, dark jeans and black boots. They believe he was assaulted at about 8 p.m.
