HASKELL, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says two passengers escaped injury when the small plane they were aboard made a forced landing in Muskogee County.

The OHP says the aircraft landed in a pasture about 1 p.m. Saturday shortly after taking off from the Haskell Airport in Haskell.

Airport owner Eddie Reynolds told reporters that it appeared the single-engine airplane appeared to have lost power before going down in the field east of the airport.
