BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - It’s the one weekend out of the year during which North Dakota anglers don’t need a license to go fishing on state waters.

The state Game and Fish Department says anglers can fish for free on Saturday and Sunday. The agency holds the special weekend every year.

While no fishing license is required, all other regulations still apply.
