SEATTLE (AP) - Road repair and partial highway closures are expected to make this weekend’s traffic in Seattle worse than usual.

The Seattle Times reports (https://is.gd/smW6dC ) the downtown transit tunnel will be closed all weekend, stopping light rail from running downtown. A shuttle bus will help some travelers get through Seattle.

New tolling equipment on Highway 520 is being installed on the bridge, closing the highway’s eastbound lanes from Friday night through Monday morning from Montlake Boulevard to 92nd Avenue Northeast.

Both directions of Highway 520 will be closed the weekend of June 26 and 27 for bridge construction.

There also will be lane closures on both the Aurora Bridge and the Ship Canal Bridge on Interstate 5 this weekend.
