LANCASTER, S.C. (AP) - A woman calling 911 told dispatchers a pastor shot to death by Lancaster County deputies pulled a gun on his wife and made her get on her knees.

Media outlets reported the 911 call in the May 28 shooting was released Friday. The woman who worked at the Carolina Corner store on U.S. Highway 521 says a man came in the store and pulled a gun on his wife. The worker says he let her and her son get to safety.

The employee says she then heard the woman cry and say she is sorry and the man with the gun forced her to her knees.

The 911 call ended before deputies arrived. Authorities say 60-year-old Darrell Morgan pointed his gun at officers and was killed.

The investigation continues.
