CLINTON, Utah (AP) - Clinton City has warned residents that they should boil their water until further notice after a sample tested positive for E. coli bacteria.

A similar order was issued Friday for Syracuse residents and is still in effect. Officials there say they’ve eliminated the source of the contamination and are now flushing water from the system.

Clinton officials say they have not yet found a specific source of contamination but have already started disinfecting the water system.

A limited supply of bottled water is available at Clinton Fire Station.

The city’s water system also tested positive for E. coli in August 2014.
