DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) - A former Iowa health aide has pleaded guilty to using a client’s debit card without permission for her own purchases.

The Quad-City Times reports (https://bit.ly/1KgPfBb ) that 28-year-old Christina Bak pleaded guilty on Friday to dependent adult abuse. She is scheduled to be sentenced on July 30.

Bak worked as a home health aide with Family Care Solutions from November 2013 until January of this year helping women with brain injuries.

As part of her job, Bak helped a woman run errands. Police say Bak used the woman’s debit card to rent DVDs, buy groceries and gasoline for herself. The theft was worth more than $100.
