DETROIT (AP) - Authorities say a father was killed and his son hurt after a shooting in the drive-thru of a fast-food restaurant in Detroit.

Police say the 28-year-old man and his 9-year-old son were waiting in line early Sunday morning at a Wendy’s when two armed men approached their car demanding money and valuables. The man in the car showed a gun but also handed over cash and a Rolex watch.

Investigators say the man was shot multiple times and died. His son was shot in the hand and taken to a hospital.

No arrests have been made.
