CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - The Wyoming Department of Transportation reopened more highways in Niobrara County on Sunday.

Traffic is now allowed on all of Wyoming Highway 270, giving motorists a way to get into or around Lusk. U.S. 85 is closed at Lusk because of a bridge collapsed by flooding on Thursday.

U.S. 18-20 between Lusk and Manville also has reopened.

Crews are still working to repair a washed out section of U.S. 18-20 between Manville and Orin Junction. And U.S. 85 remains closed from the junction of state Highway 270 about 30 miles north of Lusk to Lusk.

WYDOT says falling rock remains a hazard in other parts of the state.

Sunday was the first time in days that the National Weather Service hadn’t issued a flood watch for some part of Wyoming.
