ASPEN, Colo. (AP) - Police are still searching for a driver who went missing near Devil’s Punchbowl several days ago.

The Aspen Times reports (https://bit.ly/1GiFYa9 ) that the Aspen Police Department called the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office after a report came in Thursday of a suspected drunk driver.

Sheriff’s Office spokesman Alex Burchetta says the city asked deputies to look for the suspected vehicle east of Aspen.

They found it in the parking area for popular cliff-diving swimming spot Devil’s Punchbowl. No one was inside.

They later found some of the person’s belongings, including clothing and a wallet, on a rock ledge overlooking the spot.

Burchetta says the missing man is in his thirties.

He says there is nothing to indicate foul play but that the Sheriff’s Office is treating the investigation as if it’s criminal.
