RAINIER, Ore. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the deaths of three family members at a home in Rainier, Oregon.

Columbia County District Attorney Steve Atchison said police found the bodies after being called to home at about 11 p.m. Sunday.

The deceased were identified as 48-year-old Danny Abbott, 44-year-old Laury Abbott and 6-year-old Danny Abbott Jr.

Atchison says the bodies were discovered by another family member who called police.

Authorities have yet to say how the Abbots were killed or if they are searching for a suspect.

Atchison said a weapon was recovered, but wouldn’t say what type or where it was found.

Autopsies were scheduled for Tuesday.
