TITUSVILLE, Fla. (AP) - The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office says one of the four people arrested in connection with the slaying of a Titusville man is the daughter of a deputy.

Authorities say 22-year-old Lauren Hudgens was arrested Sunday, along with 25-year-old David Richardson, 23-year-old Kendrick Kitchen and 22-year-old Sir Aljenon Ingram inthe death of 28-year-old Rayshaan Berry June 1. Investigators say Hudgens lured Berry to a local motel under the ruse of engaging in prostitution. After arriving at the location, Berry was ambushed by a group intending to take his money, but he refused to comply and was shot during the ensuing altercation.

Authorities say Berry’s body was driven west of Interstate 95 on State Road 50 and dumped on the side of the road.
