BENTONVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Employees of the Benton County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office are moving to a new building as renovations to the Benton County Courthouse are set to take place.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (https://bit.ly/1MB0gMT ) reports more than 30 staff members will begin moving to the Massey Building Monday. Juvenile and misdemeanor prosecutors and the hot-check office will remain on the courthouse’s second floor.

Benton County Prosecuting Attorney Nathan Smith expects renovations to take up to a year or longer to complete.

The county received a $2.8 million grant from the Walton Family Foundation that will pay for the renovations.
