PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - An early morning fire destroyed a two-story garage in southwest Portland.

Lt. Rich Tyler of Portland Fire & Rescue says crews arrived Monday to find flames coming from all sides of it.

The large garage collapsed and a live power line fell during the fire that took an hour to contain. Firefighters stopped the blaze from spreading to a house 10 feet away. The home, however, sustained some exterior damage.

No one was injured, but three people and a dog were displaced.

Tyler says crews will extinguish the remaining hot spots as investigators spend Monday trying to determine what started the fire.
