NORTHPORT, Ala. (AP) - An overturned tanker spilled several hundred gallons of fuel in Northport.
Al.com (https://bit.ly/1eXD3JH ) reports the accident happened around 10 a.m. Sunday on Highway 171.
Authorities said the leak had been slowed by Sunday afternoon. Northport officials said the area was evacuated while emergency crews cleaned up the spill. The driver was taken to a hospital for treatment.
