MARYSVILLE, Wash. (AP) - Four contractors are getting back a total of about $10,000 in stolen construction site materials now that the man suspected of the thefts has been arrested.

The Daily Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1G75Zrz) officers say they found a variety of items, including doors, trusses, and wall sheeting at two homes in Marysville about 30 miles from Seattle.

Marysville police and the North Snohomish County Property Crime Unit say the man arrested on suspicion of the thefts would rent a truck and load it up at construction sites.

Snohomish County Auto Theft Task Force detective Terry Haldeman says officers look in on construction sites more often as warmer weather makes them targets for theft.

His task force recovered about $500,000 in stolen heavy equipment last year.
