SAN DIEGO (AP) - San Diego police are searching for a man in connection to a fatal shooting in the northeast part of the city.

The San Diego Union-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1Jy3W3L ) that investigators found a weapon at Marian Bear Memorial Park Sunday that may be connected to Saturday’s fatal shooting.

Police say 40-year-old Jeremy Green is suspected of killing a woman in a parking lot Saturday afternoon. Authorities have not released the name of the victim.

Homicide Lt. Paul Rorrison says it’s too early to tell if the found weapon was used in the shooting, but says it has been sent to a police lab for testing.

Green is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall with brown hair and eyes. Rorrison says Green is considered armed and extremely dangerous.
