ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - A New York man who is already in prison for murder has received another prison term for a killing that happened 15 years ago.

The Monroe County District Attorney’s Office says 42-year-old Roderick Johnson was sentenced to 20 years Monday for the shooting death of John Williams III in Rochester.

Prosecutors say Johnson fired several shots into the victim’s vehicle on Aug. 6, 2000. Rochester police reopened the case about two years ago, leading to Johnson’s manslaughter plea last month.

Johnson is already serving a 28 ½ year sentence for the murder of another Rochester man in October 2000.
