ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (AP) - Police in northeast Florida are looking for a man who they say carjacked a valuable replica vintage muscle car while on a test drive.

A salesman from a Ford dealership in St. Augustine told the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office that he was on a test drive Saturday afternoon when the driver pulled a gun and told him to get out.

Police say the man took off in the AC Cobra MKIII replica, a 523-horsepower car valued at $96,000.

Air units and others searched for the car afterward, but couldn’t find it.

The car was found abandoned on Monday by someone walking by it.

Authorities say the suspect is a white man in his 50s, about 6-feet-tall and 240 pounds.
