NEW YORK (AP) - New York City police are investigating the death of a homeless man found inside a box trailer in Brooklyn.

The victim was discovered unconscious and unresponsive at around 3 a.m. Sunday.

Police say the cargo trailer was parked on Neptune Avenue on the property of an auto glass business that allowed the homeless to sleep in the trailers.

Police say friends of the victim attempted to resuscitate him after discovering him unconscious.

He was taken to Coney Island Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
